Zesty Shrimp Skillet

4 slices bacon
1/2 cup Italian dressing
1 onion, halved and sliced
garlic powder to taste
1 pepper- mild jalapeno, bell pepper, hot cayenne- your choice
15 ounces of tomato sauce
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 pound peeled, deveined shrimp
4 cups hot cooked white rice

Cook bacon.  Remove and drain slices on a paper towel.  Add the dressing, onion, pepper and garlic powder.  Cook an additional 5 minutes, stirring frequently.   Add tomato sauce and chili powder and cook an additional 5 minutes, stirring often.

Add shrimp and cook 5-8 minutes until pink.  Crumbled cooked bacon.

Serve over rice and sprinkle with bacon bits.
