I was 35 before I ever had “stuffing” and then, it was Stove Top. I’m at least the 5th generation of my family to serve dressing instead of stuffing. Who wants to cram their hand up a turkey’s butt anyway?

Don’t let the word squash make you cringe. This recipe has enough other stuff in it, you won’t taste much of the squash.
1 1/2 quarts frozen squash, cooked, drained and mashed
2 eggs, beaten
1 medium onion, finely chopped

1 bag of fresh cranberries
1 large Cherry Jell-o
1 small Lemon Jell-o
1 cup sugar
1 small can crushed pineapple, drained
1 1/2 cups finely chopped pecans
Run berries through food processor. Mix with sugar in a small boiler. Simmer until berries are done. Mix Jell-o’s using HALF the water called for on package directions. [...]
